Thistle & Thyme is truly a passion project built over years, often without us realizing it. Though we are primarily a husband-and-wife team, Thistle & Thyme is a multigenerational family business.
Alex and Bea didn’t know that, through the years, God was laying the foundation for what would become this endeavor. Alex grew up around flowers; his mother was a florist, and over the years she helped him make arrangements for various special occasions. Later in life, Alex regularly made arrangements for his wife, Bea.
Alex began taking an interest in photography in high school and continued that interest through college and into his professional life. Alex worked for years as a graphic designer, photographer, and videographer for various companies before starting his own company, Tafv Studios LLC.
Bea has always loved plants and flowers. She enjoys the peace and grounding that comes from working in nature. Over the years, Bea has helped Alex as an assistant and secondary photographer at various events. Over time, Bea learned the basics of floral arranging by watching Alex and developed her own style.
Creating a family business they are both passionate about has always been a dream for Alex and Bea, so Thistle and Thyme began. It combines their talents and passions. We hope to bring joy and beauty to your lives extraordinary and ordinary days.
